Evidence Card — Embedded DuckDB Projection & Verification Ladder Execution

Empirical verification of the garden’s deterministic projection pipeline (tools/garden/sync_duckdb.py), mutation-testing falsifier (tools/governance_lint/rubberstamp_falsifier.py), and 4-tier MCP server (tools/garden/mcp_server.py).

Verified Capabilities

1. Zero-Daemon Markdown-to-DuckDB Projection (INV-008):
   • python3 tools/garden/sync_duckdb.py --self-test builds .garden-scratch/garden.duckdb and public/static/garden.duckdb (plus Parquet/JSON tables notes, edges, sources, embeddings) from governed markdown notes in < 1s without network access.
   • Executes recursive SQL graph lineage queries (WITH RECURSIVE lineage) and 384-d cosine/HNSW vector similarity queries (hybrid_search).
2. Mutation-Tested Governance Gates (INV-001..INV-008):
   • python3 tools/governance_lint/rubberstamp_falsifier.py --self-test injects synthetic defects (Trojan-Source bidi character, broken link reciprocity, missing frontmatter, and unverified overclaiming) into a temporary garden slice and confirms that ascii_lint.py, verify/check.py, check_garden.py, and honesty_lint.py each fail closed.
